Dave founded the Crossroads Career Ministry at Grace Church after having gone through his own job search following the demise of Arthur Andersen. Dave's career as a Senior Human Resources Executive with Arthur Andersen and currently with United Health Group has given him a great deal of knowledge and insight into a wide range of aspects of what makes a successful match into an organization and how individuals are effective in the hiring process. Dave drives all aspects of the Crossroads Ministry at Grace Church. He facilitates the Monthly Network Meetings, leads Small Groups, frequently presents on job search topics, and provides outstanding overall leadership.
Jeff is responsible for the overall operations of the church, including finances, accounting, banking, bookstore, facilities, communications, food services, information technology, and human resources. He provides the Crossroads Ministry with church resources, planning, and a great deal of support. His own background as a Branch Manager for Merrill Lynch and his career change decision has equipped him to be a tremendous resource for the Crossroads Ministry. Jon Nelson: jon_nelson@usc.salvationarmy.org Jon's extensive experience in Sales, Sales Leadership, and currently as Director of Fund Raising operations at the Salvation Army has helped him develop into an Expert Networker. His expertise has proven to be a great resource for this Ministry. Jon does frequent presentations and leads small groups for the Crossroads Ministry where he is able to share his knowledge and experience for the benefit of all those that participate.
Harry's 20 years of experience in the professional placement industry has provided him with knowledge and insights into what makes a successful candidate. He gets a unique perspective from getting feedback from both the interviewer and candidate in a hiring process and gets a view of how the selection is really determined. Harry also does frequent presentations and leads small groups for the Crossroads Ministry.
Julie experienced first hand the blessings and benefits that Crossroads Career Network offers to those going through job transition. Julie experienced a crossroads in her career in 2005 and through her participation in Crossroads found "God's calling in her life" which led to a new career that utilizes her gifts and passions. "Without going through the Crossroads journey I would have ended up in my same old job with a different company. Crossroads gave me the tools to look at my strengths, interests and passions and than explore new avenues that I had not considered before. Through this process my faith walk with the Lord grew exponentially which gave me the boldness and confidence to walk the path He had for me!" Julie's experience as an Executive Recruiter provides great insight for the Crossroads Ministry team from both a candidate preparation and employer perspective. Julie leads small groups for the Crossroads Ministry team where she is able to share her passion and enthusiasm of the Crossroads process to others in their journey.
Natalie brings 20 years of diverse professional experience across the financial services, marketing, hospitality and healthcare industries to the Crossroads Ministry. It is her broad background that provides a unique business perspective and which brings value to those in job transition. Natalie specializes in helping people discover their unique strengths and passions to find work that is purposeful and energizing. Natalie has first-hand experience with the Crossroads Network process and is passionate about helping others through transition. She leads small groups for the Crossroads Ministry.
Robin Cahow Borg has over 20 years of Human Capital experience ranging from start-up venture backed businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Robin has worked for Boston Scientific, St Jude Medical and Ingenix. In addition, she started her own consulting business called People Factor that provided talent acquisition, organizational strategy and executive coaching services. She is passionate around connecting people's talents with their calling from God. She is married to Eric (her best friend) and together they have 5 children and two golden retrievers, Tucker and Lilly. She is an avid runner and loves to garden.
Michael brings 20+ years of professional-level staffing and search experience in corporate, contract consulting, and third-party recruiting roles. His experience has included working for Securian Financial, Best Buy, Target, General Mills and Thrivent Financial identifying talent in IT, Engineering, Sales and Finance. His work as a Senior Search Consultant with The Nycor Group requires daily conversations with candidates and employers, working with potential candidates on presentation skills, resume development, and how to relate their skills and interests to a potential employer. Michael feels blessed to be able to work with Crossroads Career Network ministry, allowing him to share his passion for preparing individuals to utilize the talents God has blessed them with, developing a faith-based perspective during a unique time in their career. He has done presentations on related topics to Crossroads Groups, college alumni associations and college classes and student groups.
Scott has 20 years of experience working in career consulting, helping with the development and guidance of people in transition. As a manager of multiple training programs for RBC Wealth Management, Scott has skills in various client acquisition strategies which translate well to the art of prospecting for a job. Scott is currently involved in a long-term training program with Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries. This counseling ministry embraces the learning and understanding of various philosophies such as; communication and helping individuals overcome obstacles using Biblical principles. Scott is married to Stacy (for 21 years) and they have a 14 year old son, Spencer. |
